Greetings! My name is Shadi (pronounced "Shaadi"). I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE). My primary research interest is labor economics, specifically, economics of migration, family economics, and economics of education. In my job market paper, I measure the key determinants of marriage migration by developing a novel matching model that accounts for the possibility of migration.
I am on the academic job market in 2023-24.
